The Randomness of Januaryness

Yeah I just made that title up.  I could not think of anything else. I thought I would just put some picture up from January.  Nothing spectacular but still just as fun.  We celebrated Reeve's birthday officially when we got back from Utah. he was not feeling the best as he was battling strep throat for the second time in like 2 weeks.  We still had a good time and even when he is not feeling well he keeps a smile on his face.

The girls have always begged me for high heels. I have always said no because I wanted them to wait until they were older.  They bought these with their own money that they saved and they can only use them for dress up

Tesi trying ballet for the first time. She actually is quite graceful

This little one just stayed sick in January. She would cough so hard that she would vomit. It was the worse thing to witness and there was nothing I could do for her.

It snowed!! Only stuck around for a few hours but still fun to stomp around in for a little bit

I see this quite often in my house.

He talked me into going outside with him and taking a picture. Don't I look pretty?

Why do I have a picture of a my dog in a diaper.  This was her last "ahem" period.  We finally decided not to let her have a litter and got her fixed. She is much happier

Experiencing the new Perot museum. You take this escalator 4 stories up.

Christmas Time!

For the kids second Christmas with us, we went to Milton's family in Saint George, Utah. It was a lot of fun and we had a blast with so many aunts, uncles, and cousins. That is what I love about being at milton's family. There is so many people and we are always laughing or staying up late talking. We flew to Las Vegas on Reeve's birthday and rented a car to drive to St. George. Slowly, one by one the whole family arrived. One of my favorite memories was the gift exchanged that was organized. It was fun for everyone to get a gift and see what everyone got. Lynsie was deemed the best gift giver even though I got my person exactly what the wanted....lol!.  I also loved going to the park with all the nieces and nephews and playing games. Concentration...concentration is the game...keep the rhythm...(we never kept the rhythm).  I went to this fabulous place called Kneaders 3 times for their amazing bakery and hot chocolate.  I dont even like hot chocolate but their's is just too amazing not to like. One night after coming back home, we went looking at Christmas lights in Milton's parents neighborhood. One of my favorite Christmas activities. Right behind their house was a house that looked like Christmas threw up on it (my heros and mentors) with Santa outside for the kids to sit on his lap and get a candy cane. The grinch was even there trying to steal Christmas. We also took the kids along with Maggie, Jeff, Austin, Lucius, and Luke to Zion Canyon. Jeff wanted to see snow and right as we were leaving it started snowing.  I love the magic of Christmas.  I love being with family.
